The plot is fast-paced and full of thrill. The narratives are charming and page turning. The romance is cute and subtle, I really like it. There are some hints of romance, we'll see flirting here and there. Another memorable character is Siti, the sexy, femme fatale sidekick. I like how she answers some prejudice thrown at her. The main lead, Fatma, is snarky, smart and dependable. Some of the characters are quite memorable. It's also steampunk-ish and we'll see a lot of mechanical wonders. In A Dead Djinn of Cairo, the world is filled with mystical creatures mingling among the human, like Djinn, angels, zombie, etc. Yet, the worldbuilding is laid beautifully and quite solid. It's a very short story, only around 45 pages long.
